With over 10 years of massage experience, ranging from treatment massage, to high end spa spa experiences, Yara combines muscle specific treatment with relaxation techniques to maximize both the body and brain benefits of massage. Using an eclectic combination of massage modalities, including Swedish, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Cupping, Hot Stone, Trigger Point Therapy, Craniosacral, Lymphatic Drainage, and Reiki she will create the perfect massage to address your needs. As of October 2024, Yara is certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage.

Yara's Story

After a 15 year career working in social services, Yara decided it was time for a change. Inspired by her own experiences receiving massage and desire to continue helping people with wellness, she began the 990 hour Massage Therapy Program at Renton Technical College. Upon graduation Yara worked in local Seattle day spas for 3 years. During this time, Yara traveled to Sedona Arizona several times, where she fell in love with the sun and the beautiful red rocks. In 2018, Yara made the decision to move Sedona. In Sedona, she continued her massage career, working in high-end destination resort spas, including Mii Amo at Enchantment Resort and Amara Resort and Spa. Eventually though, 4 years of separation from friends and family became too difficult, and Yara made the decision to come back to Seattle to be with her soul tribe. So now, she is back in Seattle and ready to share her experience and talent giving a massage that finds the perfect balance between relaxation and treatment. Can't wait to see you!

Logistics

Location - The office is conveniently located in the Maple Leaf neighborhood of NE Seattle. Easily accessible from Lake City Way, Northgate, Greenlake, Wedgewood, Ravenna and Sandpoint neighborhoods. Even from Yara's home in Shoreline is about a 12 minute4 drive!

Parking - There is usually plenty of free street parking right on 5th Ave, as well as on the side streets of the neighborhood.

Payment -Cash/Check/Venmo/Zelle are preferred payment methods, but I also accept credit cards. I also offer packages that allow you to pre-pay for 3 or 6 services at a time at a discounted rate.

Insurance - I do not take any health insurance at this time, but if you have a Health Savings Account credit/debit card, you are able to use that for payment. I am able to provide superbills for you to try to receive reimbursement from your insurance company. I do accept PIP, as well, if you have the coverage through your car insurance and are in an accident.

Tipping/Gratuity -Gratuity are accepted but never expected. I set my rates at what I believe is fair. The best thank you for a job well done is rescheduling, referring your friends to me, or leaving me a Google or Yelp review. I appreciate you!!
